Nature of the Service

Cherokee County Released Inmates is an independent reference site with no government ties. It does not store official records, make custody determinations, release anyone, or file a request or court document for a visitor.

The site directs readers to Cherokee County release resources, North Carolina corrections tools, and selected independent research services. The office or provider behind each destination controls its own information.

Acceptable Use Rules

• Use the site only in compliance with applicable law.
• Do not use information to stalk, intimidate, threaten, or harass another person.
• Do not rely on site content for hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions.
• Do not attempt to enter accounts, servers, or site areas without authorization.
• Do not operate bots, automated scrapers, or similar extraction tools against the site.
• Do not interfere with service availability or another visitor’s access.

FCRA Uses Are Prohibited

Cherokee County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Neither this site nor its advertising partners supplies background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services. You agree that information found here or through a linked tool will not be used for:

• Hiring, firing, promotion, or another employment decision
• Tenant selection, housing access, or lease decisions
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing
• Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government program
• Any additional decision regulated by the FCRA

Independent Links

Links may lead to the Cherokee released-booking records, the official Detention Center page, the Cherokee County court office, and outside providers. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control a destination’s content, availability, security, or data practices, and visitors should review that provider’s terms before using it.

Custody records and public information can change quickly. Nothing displayed here is an official statement by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, NCDAC, a court, or another government agency.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the site and its operators from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use of the service or your violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

North Carolina law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction within North Carolina.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. The affected provision will be narrowed or adjusted only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable.
